Somehow the nightmare isn't over yet. Now it just leaves me afraid, leaves me hanging with morbid thoughts. Afraid of losing the people around me, wondering cruel things such as what if a particular person suddenly dies?
And it scares me that I'm thinking this way. So many times I've attended a funeral, I guess it awakened me, makes me wanna treasure life more. It seems like the only reason I try to live a meaningful life is because I'm afraid my life will end just like that. And somehow, I'm afraid of dying now. Cos there is so much uncertainty as to when we will leave this world. No one knows.
As the volunteer at the mosque told us today, life and death is unpredictable. It is all controlled by a greater god.
I choose to believe. Not in life after death. But that death is only the beginning of a journey. Perhaps not for the deceased, but for those affected by the death of the deceased.
Because through this we will learn to treasure. Through losing we will learn to cherish.
Don't wait till "next time",
cos no one knows when "next time" will come.

Halloween! Ooh, scary.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Last friday was Halloween celebration held in school, organised by Welfare Comm!
The nightwalk seriously scared the hell outta me, apparently me and qy were the loudest screamers also hahaha. Stupid oscar kept crawling behind me so I kept screaming lol. Okay I'm nooooob.
The movie screening wasnt scary though, just gory bah. Hahaha still can't forget that emergency bell scene, totally sian diao! HAHAHA.

The whole movie didnt make any sense but oh wellllll. Got the scare factor hahaha.

Sorry that the celebration was so late, but hope you enjoyed it anyway! We went to Amici at Holland V (my 4th time already!) to dine! :D
For starters we ordered Wild Mushroom Soup to share.
I really love how the mushrooms are ground so finely instead of big chunky pieces like many other restaurants.
My crayfish linguini! *yumssss* But this time it was like 5x spicier than the previous time I tried it, I think its because the staff added too much black pepper already! Still, it was FAHN-TAAS-TEEK.
Yuan yuan's Vongole in white win sauce. Apparently really nice too but ugh, I don't like shellfish.
We were kinda full after that but still ordered a slice of tiramisu! Yeuns' favourite. She says this is the best out of all she has tried, which I believe is a lot? Hahaha.

I'm not going to post our photos up here because uh, I didn't have a good hair day and thus, only yeuns looked normal in the photos hahahaha. Ah yuannn if you want then you tell me kay I send you :))

On Sunday Baby and I went The Cathay to watch MJ's THIS IS IT movie. That sweet boy went all the way down to Dhoby Ghaut just to buy the tickets in advance! Like last week or sth, I think.
Watching the show brought back many emotions that I felt when I was watching all his videos during the few weeks when he first passed away. And somehow throughout the movie, it didn't feel as if he was already gone. It was like watching the making of a concert, and time and again I kept imagining the 02 arena stadium filled up to the brim with fans crying and screaming and singing along. And whenever it hit me that there wouldn't be such a chance anymore, I felt sad again.
But I'm glad this movie was made, because at least it showed all his glory just before he passed.
After it ended Baby and I went to try Manhattan Fish Market at Plaza Sing. It was the first time for the both of us and I wasn't most pleased with their service but it was alright, I guess.
Baby ordered fish and chips, cherry snapper.
Fried country mushrooms, which I thought were alright only lah. Not very fantastic.
Bought a pair of ankle booties from DMK, which I thought could wear for formal day but ahhh doesn't seem very formal right? :(
Very sad now dunno when and what to wear them with.
Anyone got suggestions what outfit to match with the shoes? I don't want to waste my monehhh. :(

First up, I shall share my virgin pancake-making experience on Sunday with you all! I thought it would be a very tedious process cos of the flour and all that, but thanks to Betty Crocker, my pancake mixture was ready in minutes! Just add the powder and cold water and whisk!
Maple syrup and pancake mix both bought from NTUC. About $6+ each? Don't rmb.
My plain looking buttermilk pancake mixture

It was superrrr nice and easy to cook but my first one chaotah cos I dunno how to do mah then experiment abit haha. & baby really spam my maple syrup lor tsk. Expensive you know. Next time go kope from Macs hehe ^^
Brunch was pancakes at around 11am but I got hungry again at about 3 or 4 so I cooked maggi mee with egg!
Tomyum is my favourite flavour cos I like spice! :D
Then not long later around 7pm my mummy said let's order pizza for dinner (Y) so I went to check Rite pizza's website for the different flavours and we settled on Black Pepper Sausage and Meat Diva, both of which were equally good!!!!
Oh and comes with free 1.5l drink with dunno how much $$ spent. So I ordered green tea since it's more refreshing and not so gassy.

No Sunday night is complete without watching 百万大歌星!! The producers were really mean to 孙协志 cos he was just too imba LOL.
& baby wrote this cos I asked him to copy down a recipe from the internet. We wanted to make tortillas but it rained that day so didn't manage to go NTUC to buy tortilla wraps.
Notice how his handwriting gets bigger and bigger and bigger! Haha. Plus he never include quantity one leh -.-
School was mundane throughout the week although Wednesday was fun! While waiting for our grooming workshop at 3.15pm we girls went off to Prata Planet/ Mr Prata at Clementi!

The cheese wasn't overpowering and I simple adore mushrooms, so I guess I'm already biased from the beginning haha. Total bill was like less than $20 considering all the stuff we ate, I think I'm addicted to that place already! Heeee.
Okay, shall update about yeuns' birthday celebration on another day!
Tomorrow having Halloween party in school and I have no idea what to wear. "Costume" in mind currently is Camp tee + FBT unless no one is wearing like that? Let me know what you're wearing kay, girls! :D

Not today, not tomorrow, not me.
Helloooo!
I'm actually very tired now, I guess it's cos of the long day I've had today. Fridays are very likeable because lessons start at 11am and only comprises of 3 boring lectures and 1 even more boring gems. No need to do tutorials, no need to use brain.
Had our MIU debrief / year meeting today. I was very surprised that it was only 9pm when it ended cos, you know lah, our culture, since when will end early one -.- HAHAHA but anyway.
Went to some restaurant called Mr Prata for supper after meeting. There were about... 12 of us? Yeppp. The pratas were super crispy but just a teeny weeny bit expensive. Next time bring my family there to eat on Sunday mornings! Wheeee.
Reached home slightly after 11, sit in front of tv and stone. Watched 家好月圆, wahhh that Ah Mei really damn kiam pah you know you know! Totally feel like slapping here but then no point getting so agitated over a fictional character right hehe. And the 8pm show de Fan Pei Dong de pattern really like Edmund lorrrr! SERIOUS. Except that actor more handsome AHAHA okay please dont smash my 乌龟壳!
Anywayyyy. Was blog-hopping just now, and somehow I find it very heartwarming to know that despite the dunno-what-it-is-and-dunno-why-it-exists barrier among all of us, some of us still managed to find solace in each other. Which leads me to wonder, what about myself?
When I graduate from SP DTRM in another one and a half years, what will I take with me? The friendships that I've gained, how long can I keep them? Do I really know these people and do they know the real me?
I'm highly confused, and it's been a loooong time since I've had a real human talk with anyone. Human talk where I talk, and someone would just sit and listen and occasionally say, "Yeah, I understand. I get that a lot too." And until then, it seems like my only aims to come to school are to increase my stupid GPA and to see my girls and GAIA.
Oh gosh I really hope the Genting trip becomes reality if not I'll be so darn sad.

I'm a lazy bum cos this weekend although I keep saying I want to do my tutorials, I haven't touched a single one of them. Soooo, I am going to start after dinner. No more excuses, I'm running out of them too.

Not today, not tomorrow, not me.
Helloooo!
I'm actually very tired now, I guess it's cos of the long day I've had today. Fridays are very likeable because lessons start at 11am and only comprises of 3 boring lectures and 1 even more boring gems. No need to do tutorials, no need to use brain.
Had our MIU debrief / year meeting today. I was very surprised that it was only 9pm when it ended cos, you know lah, our culture, since when will end early one -.- HAHAHA but anyway.
Went to some restaurant called Mr Prata for supper after meeting. There were about... 12 of us? Yeppp. The pratas were super crispy but just a teeny weeny bit expensive. Next time bring my family there to eat on Sunday mornings! Wheeee.
Reached home slightly after 11, sit in front of tv and stone. Watched 家好月圆, wahhh that Ah Mei really damn kiam pah you know you know! Totally feel like slapping here but then no point getting so agitated over a fictional character right hehe. And the 8pm show de Fan Pei Dong de pattern really like Edmund lorrrr! SERIOUS. Except that actor more handsome AHAHA okay please dont smash my 乌龟壳!
Anywayyyy. Was blog-hopping just now, and somehow I find it very heartwarming to know that despite the dunno-what-it-is-and-dunno-why-it-exists barrier among all of us, some of us still managed to find solace in each other. Which leads me to wonder, what about myself?
When I graduate from SP DTRM in another one and a half years, what will I take with me? The friendships that I've gained, how long can I keep them? Do I really know these people and do they know the real me?
I'm highly confused, and it's been a loooong time since I've had a real human talk with anyone. Human talk where I talk, and someone would just sit and listen and occasionally say, "Yeah, I understand. I get that a lot too." And until then, it seems like my only aims to come to school are to increase my stupid GPA and to see my girls and GAIA.
Oh gosh I really hope the Genting trip becomes reality if not I'll be so darn sad.

Came back from seeing the doctor, I think that he thinks that I'm trying to chao keng lor. So sad, I was really having a headache okayyyy.
Okay lah, not that severe until completely cannot go school, but still...................

I have wonderful news to share! YewTee foodcourt got Aston's Express now!! Woooo super excited, plus it's slightly cheaper than Aston's Specialities! Damn high now, imagine I can eat Aston's EVERYDAYYYY. Wahhhhhhh~
But the prices, albeit cheaper, are still not very pocket friendly. So I guess I have to stick to school food and $2 杂菜饭 for now.
Wonder if I'll go for the Vietnam trip eventually? Seems fun. Anyone else going? Leave a tag!
